Well, it’s probably as solid as System 7 was when Apple made this claim!
Welcome to Apollo version 1.0, the launching utility. This is the fifth major release of Apollo. Beta versions 0.5, 0.6, 0.7 and 0.8 have been widely used and very well-received: the feedback, in the forms of suggestions for improvements and bug reports, was overwhelming and extraordinarily helpful. Apollo has very much been shaped by its users.
Apollo has been extensively tested and is believed to be free of bugs. Nevertheless, no responsibility will be accepted for any loss, however caused, which may or may not be consequent upon the use of Apollo.
Apollo 1.0, unlike previous versions, is shareware. If you propose to keep it, I ask that you pay a small registration fee ($US30/£15 sterling). See the “Registering Apollo” chapter or Apollo’s Registering… dialog for more details.
Permission is granted to reproduce unregistered copies of Apollo and its associated programs without charge.
